Business Council

The Nelson-Atkins Business Council, founded in 1985 by Henry Bloch, is made up of nearly 100 local companies and represents the diversity of our local business landscape. The Business Council demonstrates the important role Kansas City’s corporate community plays in supporting the arts.

By providing support today, you can help the Nelson-Atkins thrive while unlocking exclusive access for your company and employees.

How to use your card

Your company’s primary contact received a welcome email from alerts@museumanywhere.com with access to the digital member card. If they did not receive this email, please contact the museum’s membership team at membership@nelson-atkins.org.

Adding a card to your digital wallet
Digital member cards can be downloaded to your mobile device’s wallet, no app required.

Follow our how-to guide to download your Business Council member card to your phone or tablet’s digital wallet.

Using your card
Digital member cards allow you to quickly and conveniently apply your membership benefits — whether that’s scanning in the parking garage, at museum and special exhibition entrances, for discounts in museum retail and dining locations.

Each member card features a member ID number, membership level, and membership expiration date.

Sharing with other Business Council members

Your company’s primary contact may share the digital membership card with colleagues.

The primary cardholder can forward the welcome email containing their access link to other members on the account.

If you added the company digital card to your wallet, you can text the link to the colleagues.

Membership updates and renewals

Your digital card will automatically update when your membership information changes, so you only need to download your card once.

Please note that if you renew early, your new expiration date will refresh once your current membership ends.
