How does the COVID19 closure affect my membership?

In support the nation’s efforts to contain the coronavirus, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is closed until further notice. All current members will receive three extra months of membership upon the museum’s reopening. Society of Fellows members, you will be asked to opt into the three-month membership extension. Your Member Card will continue to work for the duration of your membership; a new plastic card will not be mailed to you.

If you join as a member during the closure, your membership year won’t begin until the museum reopens. You may experience a delay in receiving your Member Card via snail-mail.

If you have questions about how this affects you, please contact the Membership Team at membership@nelson-atkins.org
