In Memoriam

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art mourns the loss of David Douglas Duncan, the Kansas City-born photographer recognized internationally as one of the greatest photojournalists of the 20^th century. Duncan died June 7 in France at the age of 102.

His generosity and love of Kansas City will always be remembered, as will his vigor and relentless energy in photographing the world around him.
