Kirkwood Hall

As the ceremonial heart of the Museum, Kirkwood Hall is a grand and beautiful space. Flanked by twelve massive columns of black and white marble, this vast room is approximately forty feet high. The limestone walls are adorned with original tapestries from the museum’s collection.

Availability and Cost:
Available Monday, Thursday–Sunday

Up to 2  hours: $10,000
Up to 4 hours: $17,500
Additional hours: $2,000 per hour

Reminders

  • There is no food or beverage permitted in the Atkins Auditorium
  • Rozzelle Court Restaurant is the exclusive caterer for events at the Nelson-Atkins
  • The museum is a smoke-free institution
  • For the safety and well being of guests, the client will be responsible for an additional security cost ($100 every 30 minutes) if any guest(s) stays beyond the designated closure time
