Wes Anderson’s darkly comic drama follows the Tenenbaums, a family of geniuses that has crumbled after decades of betrayal, failure, and disaster — mostly the fault of the patriarch, Royal. The Royal Tenenbaums chronicles the triumphs and fallout that follows the family’s unexpected reunion one winter.
