[1] “A young lady, her powdered hair falling in a coil to one shoulder and entwined with a white gauze scarf, wearing a low-cut blue dress with white slashed sleeves and a white lace-trimmed collar, the bodice edged with yellow ribbon, framed as a brooch within a border of crystals, the reverse with plaited hair, oval 1 5/8 in.; 4.1 cm.” The annotated catalogue has a circled lot number and lists “1600” below the lot description.
