This third volume features miniatures by British artists with last names F through Z from the Georgian era (1714–1837). Miniatures by John Smart (1741–1811) and John Smart Junior (1776–1809) are collected in the fourth volume. Highlights include Nathaniel Hone’s Portrait of Mary de Cardonnel, Countess Talbot, 1743; Portrait of an Officer of the 14th Light Dragoons, 1798–99 by Thomas Henry Hull; Bernard Lens III, Portrait of a Woman with her Dog, ca. 1728; William Charles Ross, Portrait of Miss Mary Pack, 1832; and Gervase Spencer, Portrait of a Woman, 1747.
