Will all levels of tickets have access to the live auction?

Yes. The auction begins at 7 p.m. Friday, April 30.

When is the last day to purchase tickets?

Sunday, April 25.

How to Attend

What will ShuttleCork 2021 look like?

This year, ShuttleCork will be all virtual and one night only, between 6 and 8 pm CST on Friday, April 30.

Will any part of ShuttleCork 2021 be in person, at the museum?

No. This year, ShuttleCork will be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.


How will I see what is offered at the auction?

For one week ahead of the event, from April 23 to April 30, items will be available for advanced bidding. Those items will close shortly before the live auction.

Also, an online catalog of items will be emailed in advance. A printed catalog will be included with your wine.

How will I view the virtual auction?

Before the event, you will receive details from the ShuttleCork Committee. You will register in advance on the auction platform Greater Giving closer to the event. We recommend, for the best experience, that you use two devices: stream the event on your personal computer or television, and use your phone or tablet for bidding.

Your ShuttleCork Committee Concierge will guide you in the days leading up to the auction. Use the tips for a fun, streamlined evening from your home.

Wine Tasting

Will we be drinking special wine – together?

Yes. But virtually! Some guests will pick up their wine at the museum. For those who purchase packages at $1,000 and above, wine will be delivered to you, within a 20-mile radius of the museum.

How will we know which virtual tasting we will attend?

Your wine tasting with other guests and with two winemakers will be determined based on how you rank the wines available.

When and where can I pick up my Essential Sip package?

At the Essential Sips level, $250 (wine) or $500 (wine/charcuterie), you will pick up your box at the Nelson-Atkins between 3 and 5 pm CST on Friday, April 30, 2021.
