Learn the basics of digital photography and explore how to capture great images. Camera mechanics, such as shutter speed, aperture, use of lenses, light meters and more will be discussed. The key elements of visual composition – what makes a successful and interesting photograph – will be explored. Class will view photographs in the featured exhibition 30 Americans as well as the photography galleries. Participants should bring a digital camera and SD card, no phones for this class. This class is designed for beginning photographers.
