Talk | Liberty’s Silver Lining: The Forgotten Genius of Archibald Knox

Atkins Auditorium
Tickets required; FREE

Tony Jones, historian, author and broadcaster, and the Nerman Family President of the Kansas City Art Institute, reveals the magic of the reclusive artist and designer, Archibald Knox, and the amazing power of his patron, Sir Arthur Liberty, entrepreneur and founder of Liberty’s of London.

Despite producing over 5,000 individual designs for textiles, silver, wallpaper, and carpets for Liberty’s, the creative and prolific Knox lived like a hermit on the remote Isle of Man and was almost lost to history.
