REM : Film screening and Q&A with the Director, Tomas Koolhaas

Architecture is usually filmed from the outside, as an inanimate object. REM offers an unconventional approach by combining the human stories and experiences of both the legendary architect Rem Koolhaas and the users of his architecture. The film explores Koolhaas’s life, working methods, philosophy, and internal landscape, from a never-before-seen perspective of intimacy and immediacy. See how Rem’s ideas come to fruition in concrete and metal—some massive and some small—dotted all around the globe.

After the 75-minute screening, filmmaker Tomas Koolhaas will lead a question-and-answer session.

This exclusive Kansas City event is co-presented by AIA Kansas City and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
