Join us in celebrating 90 years of the Nelson-Atkins.

90 years ago this December, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art opened its doors with the promise to be a premier destination for people of all ages and identities to view and learn about world-class art. Much has changed in the intervening years, but that simple mission holds true.

Because we could not have reached this milestone without our guests and patrons, we’re inviting community members to join us for festivities throughout November and December. From drop-in activities to lavish affairs, there’s something for everyone to celebrate the Nelson-Atkins’ first 90 years – and support the museum as we look toward the future.
