Private Rental Events
Have the Museum or one of its signature venues all to yourself. Spectacular event settings promise an experience that cannot be duplicated elsewhere.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is an excellent venue for gala celebrations, stylized luncheons and dinners, cocktail receptions, employee appreciation, retirement events, reunions. Select galleries, featured exhibitions and docent tours can be used to complement any event.

Membership has its benefits and rental discounts are available at upper membership levels for Friends of Art, and for all Society of Fellows and Business Council Members. Additionally nonprofit, 501(C)(3) organizations, educational and community groups are provided discounts for venue rentals.

Luncheon Events with Museum Tour
Celebrate with friends in what Travel Holiday magazine calls “the prettiest museum café in the Midwest.” For bridal or baby showers, birthday luncheons or other get-togethers, combine a delightful pre-set meal with a docent-led tour.

Information to Keep in Mind

A rental fee is required for each event. The amount may vary depending on spaces used and time spent in the museum.
Rozzelle Court Restaurant is the exclusive caterer for all museum events.
No political or religious ceremonies can be held on premises.
The Event Planning Department can help you coordinate your special needs including catering, audio-visual equipment, music, flowers and other special requests.
