Youth & Family Program Description

Classes and Workshops
Doors to self-discovery open to young learners with the Nelson-Atkins’ specially designed studio classes and workshops for ages 3 to 16. Children and adults can explore the Museum’s world-class collections and practice creativity through “pair-up” workshops and “parent-child” classes.

Family Programs and Events
Families and fun come together at the Nelson-Atkins! Free events include the Chinese New Year celebration, musical performances, hands-on activities, the Children’s Film Festival, puppet shows, Museum-wide family days and more.
