Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park

Students will compare and contrast materials, techniques, subject matter and artistic styles of sculptors such as Alexander Calder, Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore and Claes Oldenburg. In case of inclement weather, the tour will be inside the Museum with comparable objects.

Appropriate for grades: 3rd-12th

Maximum Size: 90 students

School tours are FREE, one hour and 15 minutes in length and are available for grades 2-12.


Lunch
Rozzelle Court Restaurant offers $7.50 box lunches for school groups. Orders must be placed in advance. E-mail events@nelson-atkins.org.

School groups may bring sack lunches and picnic on the grounds of the Sculpture Park. Teachers are responsible for making alternate arrangements in inclement weather. There are limited facilities for students who are scheduled for an All-Day Visit to eat sack lunches inside the Museum. Request to eat indoors must be made at the time of registration and are on a first-come, first-served basis.
