Students will have the opportunity to critique selected contemporary art objects and express their opinions. By explaining their responses, students will discover more about their own preferences and those of their peers. Through the course of the tour, students may revise their original opinions as they discover more significant artists and artistic movements. Appropriate for grades: 5-12 Maximum students: 75 School tours are FREE, one hour and 15 minutes in length and are available for grades 2-12. School groups may bring sack lunches and picnic on the grounds of the Kansas City Sculpture Park. Teachers are responsible for making alternate arrangements in inclement weather. There are limited facilities for students who are scheduled for an All-Day Visit to eat sack lunches inside the Museum.
